Deine Aufgaben
  • Du bist Mitglied unseres agilen Android-Entwicklungsteam, bestehend aus Entwicklern/Entwicklerinnen, Architekten/Architektinnen, Testern/Testerinnen, einem Product Owner und Scrum Master
  • Du entwickelst technisch anspruchsvolle Software. Das Team lebt eine ausgewogene Mischung aus Weiterentwicklung bestehender Funktionen und Pflege der Codebasis. Zudem entwickelst Du natürlich mit an komplett neuen Modulen für unsere SecurePIM Applikation. 
  • Als Softwareentwickler:in bist Du in enger Abstimmung mit den Softwarearchitekten/Softwarearchitektinnen zur konstanten Verbesserung der Code Qualität und einheitlichen Software Architektur
  • Du arbeitest eng mit dem Designer zusammen, um die Benutzerfreundlichkeit der App zu verbessern
  • Du teilst Dein Android Wissen mit dem Team und unterstützt andere Teammitglieder
  • Du bist verantwortlich für regelmäßige Code-Reviews mit dem Team, um die hohe Code-Qualität weiterhin zu gewährleisten
Dein Profil
  • Du hast ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Du hast praktische Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung, insbesondere im mobile Umfeld (Android) mit Java und Kotlin
  • Du hast Kenntnisse der aktuellen Android SDK's und den damit verbundenen Entwicklungspattern
  • Du hast ein starkes Interesse an einheitlicher Architektur und die Fähigkeit diese im Team zu diskutieren
  • IT-Sicherheit ist Dir wichtig und Du hast Interesse, Dich in diesem Bereich weiter zu entwickeln. Keine Sorge, Du musst kein IT-Security Experte sein
  • Idealerweise hast Du auch Kenntnisse mit X.509, SSL/TLS und Client Based Authentication
  • Idealerweise hast Du Erfahrung mit verschiedenen Netzwerk Infrastruktur Komponenten, z.B. Exchange Active Sync Protokoll, MDM, VPN
  • Du sprichst fließend Englisch und gerne auch Deutsch

Your mission
  • You are a member of our agile Android development team, consisting of developers, architects, testers, a product owner and scrum master
  • You develop technically sophisticated software. The team lives a balanced mix of further development of existing functions and maintenance of the code base. Of course, you will also be involved in the development of completely new modules for our SecurePIM application. 
  • As a software developer you are in close coordination with the software architects to constantly improve the code quality and consistent software architecture.
  • You work closely with the designer to improve the user experience of the app
  • You share your Android knowledge with the team and support other team members
  • You are responsible for regular code reviews with the team to ensure the high quality of the code
Your profile
  • You have a successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • You have practical experience in software development, especially in the mobile environment (Android) with Java and Kotlin
  • You have knowledge of the current Android SDK's and the associated development patterns
  • You have a strong interest in unified architecture and the ability to discuss it in a team environment
  • IT security is important to you and you are interested in developing yourself in this area. Don't worry, you don't have to be an IT security expert.
  • Ideally you also have knowledge of X.509, SSL/TLS and Client Based Authentication.
  • Ideally you have experience with different network infrastructure components, e.g. Exchange Active Sync Protocol, MDM, VPN
  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus

About us
Materna Virtual Solution, a Materna Group company, is a software vendor specialized in mobile applications, headquartered in Munich and with a development location in Berlin. 

We develop and market the apps SecurePIM, SecureCOM and the security framework SERA for iOS and Android. SecurePIM makes encrypted and usable mobile work possible. Authorities are able to communicate using smartphones and tablets, while maintainingthe levels of confidentiality required for information which is classified as "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (VS-NfD)" and communicate at the security level NATO RESTRICTED.
