Software Test Engineer (m/w/d)

Deine Aufgaben
  • Du stellst zuverlässige Software durch kontinuierliche Integration, sorgfältige Verifizierung und Testautomatisierung bereit
  • Du bist ein fester Bestandteil des Scrum Teams und stellst sicher, dass die Stories testfähige Produktanforderungen beinhalten 
  • Du erstellst vollständige sowie effiziente Testfälle und Testszenarien auf Basis von User Stories und Akzeptanzkriterien
  • Du begeisterst Dich für das Design und UI, außerdem lieferst Du Feedback zum Design und UX
  • Du identifizierst die richtigen Stellen, um explorative In-Sprint Tests durchzuführen
  • Du bist verantwortlich für die Aufnahme, Erfassung und erneutes Testen von Mängeln in Jira 
  • Du entwickelst neue Testdaten und bereitest sie vor
Dein Profil
  • Du arbeitest hoch motiviert und leidenschaftlich um in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Entwicklungsteam die Qualität der Projekte weiter voranzutreiben
  • Idealerweise hast Du ein abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik bzw. eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
  • Du hast Erfahrung mit mobilen Tests über den gesamten Lebenszyklus einer mobilen Applikation hinweg
  • Du hast Kenntnisse im manuellen Software Testing, sowie in der Testautomatisierung
  • Du begeisterst dich für die Schaffung einer innovativen User Experience bei der Entwicklung großartiger Software
  • Du besitzt die Fähigkeit, in einem schnelllebigen Umfeld mit engen Fristen und wechselnden Prioritäten zu arbeiten
  • Du zeichnest dich durch Flexibilität, organisatorisches Geschick und Teamfähigkeit aus
  • Du hast erste praktische Erfahrungen mit dem Automation Framework Espresso oder Appium
  • Du hast Kenntnisse in Ruby oder Java
  • Du hast ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

Your mission
  • You deliver reliable software through continuous integration, disciplined manual verification and automated testing
  • You are an integral member of the Scrum team to ensure the stories contain testable product requirements 
  • You create complete and efficient test cases and test scenarios based upon User Stories and acceptance criteria
  • You are passionate about design and UI and provide feedback on design and UX
  • You identify the right spots to conduct exploratory in-sprint testing
  • You raise, record and retest defects in Jira
  • You design and prepare test data
Your profile
  • You work in a highly motivated, passionate and goal-driven manner and push the quality of your projects to an impressive maturity level in close collaboration with the development team
  • Ideally you have a degree in computer science or similar
  • You have proven experience in mobile testing throughout the lifecycle of a mobile app
  • You have expertise in manual software testing and know-how in test automation
  • You are passionate about creating an innovative user experience whilst building great software
  • You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • You are flexible and a teamplayer
  • You have experience with automation frameworks Espresso or Appium
  • You have experience with Ruby or Java
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus

About us
Materna Virtual Solution, a Materna Group company, is a software vendor specialized in mobile applications, headquartered in Munich and with a development location in Berlin. 

We develop and market the apps SecurePIM, SecureCOM and the security framework SERA for iOS and Android. SecurePIM makes encrypted and usable mobile work possible. Authorities are able to communicate using smartphones and tablets, while maintainingthe levels of confidentiality required for information which is classified as "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (VS-NfD)" and communicate at the security level NATO RESTRICTED.

For enterprise SecurePIM fulfills the provisions set forth in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for mobile devices and therefore prevents GDPR violations and loss of company data.
